Designed by BBMD, Alan Kadıköy is a contemporary cultural facility that balances a durable, time-resistant exterior with a highly flexible interior designed for the evolving needs of performing arts. Developed through a collaborative process, the building features a versatile square-shaped main hall with 360-degree circulation and mobile seating, enabling diverse actor-audience relationships supported by advanced technical infrastructure for sound and lighting. Constructed from long-lasting materials like brick and titanium-zinc, the structure serves as a high-tech, adaptable “hangar” that grants artists the freedom to manipulate theatrical space for various creative purposes.
