The Beykoz Glass and Crystal Museum is housed in a historical stone structure originally built in the late 19th century as the stables of the sprawling estate of Abraham Pasha, a prominent Ottoman statesman and vizier. Located within the 360-acre Abraham Pasha Grove along the Bosphorus, the U-shaped building is a notable example of 19th-century masonry architecture, characterized by its modular layout and rhythmic arched facades. After falling into a state of neglect, the building was meticulously restored by the Directorate of National Palaces and inaugurated as a museum in April 2021. Today, it serves as a sophisticated venue that bridges the industrial past of Beykoz—once the heart of Ottoman glass production—with modern museology, showcasing over 1,400 exquisite glass artifacts within a landscape that retains its historical botanical diversity.
